Keysborough Hotel is located at the Cnr Corrigan & Cheltenham Rds, Keysborough, Victoria, 3173
Today I arrived at 9.50am and entered the entrance and noticed the bistro on the left hand side, the gaming bar straight ahead and the gaming pokie machines to my right. I wasn’t greeted with goodmorning from the staff members until ten minutes later and that was because I was walking towards one of the female staff members working there.
There is a self service to make your own tea and coffee which is a great idea. The area was neatly presented and clean. You can have a look at the photo below to see for yourself.
The gaming bar is a big one. But the drinks are a bit too expensive, for example a glass of soft drink (coke, lemon squash, lemonade)etc is $3.85. Which is a lot more compared to other venues. Highways tabaret is only $3.20 for the same soft drink. So if you are looking for specials for drinks, the Keysborough Hotel is not the way to go.

The bar has its own water self service on top and it’s not the cleanest bar I have seen so far. The buckets in the back of the bar are filthy dirty and it’s not very well organised.
I entered the smoking area and noticed the floor was dirty. It seems to me like the floor has never been cleaned at all, that’s the impression I got. Have a look for yourself.

The chairs were not straightened up off the tables and there were no ashtrays for the smokers. By the way the time at this point was 10am. Last but not least are the glass doors and windows. They are filthy dirty as well.

On a more positive note, the menu has some fantastic specials. If you have kids, up until the 12 of August your child gets a free yo-yo and kid’s cup with every child’s meal.
If you are a senior, come in every night between 5pm-6pm for dinner for the Seniors Early Bird Special. $10 will get you a 3 course meal which includes a soup of the day, a choice of many of the fantastic seniors meals and a desert.
Every Friday for lunch and dinner for there are $12 Meal Deals. Your choice of some of the favourite bar meals for only $12 and you also get a free drink (soft drink, beer or wine). Friday 12pm-2:30pm & 4:00pm-9:00pm.
These are the specials I found at Keysborough as far as these meals are concerned, the taste of the meals, I will leave for a future review.
