A Healing True Story of A Woman With A Grapefruit Sized Endometrial Tumor
Her name is Heather Thompson, a beautiful woman from Oregon. She wrote to Dr. Andrew Weil informing him of her true story.
In 1984, when Heather was 23 years young, after being told by several gynecologists that she merely had PMS, she was diagnosed with a grapefruit sized endometrial tumor that had ripped her uterus and ovaries apart, so badly that they were in the bottom of her abdominal cavity. Heather had surgery and was on Dep-Provera (an injectable, synthetic form of progesterone) for a whole year on the advice of her surgeon. But being really freaked out and feeling that her tumors were growing back, she decided to quit the pharmaceuticals and went to a nutritionist who diagnosed her with a severe candida (yeast) infection. Heather decided to change her diet completely. She began taking chlorella (an algae supplement) to clean out the pharmaceutical build up, and began to answer the question, “If I didn’t have this disease at birth, what started it?” Hormones in milk and meat, she suspected, and being treated with repeated doses of antibiotics as a teenager. Heather now only eats the purest foods, water and air, and she has been in perfect health for ten years now. She has never felt so good in her whole entire life. When she gets stressed out, she goes to her acupuncturist or gets a massage done and she feels much better.
The prognosis given to her by her surgeon was that she would have many more surgeries in the next five to ten years. That she would be in constant pain and will never be able to conceive, and would not be able to sustain a pregnancy or give birth. They left her ovaries alone in-case a cure for endometriosis is found.
You will be surprised to learn what natural remedies can do. Twelve years after the surgery, with a clean diet and a little assistance from Mother Nature, including herbal remedies from raspberry and nettles, Heather’s body is now ready to conceive and carry a baby to term. What a wonderful healing true story, we can all learn from this story.
